New Flu Vaccines Promise Greater Protection This Season

BOSTON (CBS) --- New flu vaccines promise greater protection from getting sick this season.

For the first time, certain brands of vaccine will target four different strains of the flu virus, instead of three.

They're calling Quadrivalent Vaccines.

All spray vaccines will be the four-strain kind and some varieties of the injectable vaccines.

Doctors recommend everyone six months or older get a flu vaccine during early fall.
