Mother Accidentally Runs Over, Kills Adult Son In Newton

NEWTON (CBS) --- The Middlesex District Attorney is investigating a family tragedy in Newton.

It happened Tuesday afternoon outside a home on Donna Road, a residential street in Oak Hill.

The driver, 69-year-old Estafaye Levine accidentally backed up over her adult son, 44-year-old Bruce Levine, killing him.

Bruce Levine was putting something in the back of his mother's car when she shifted it into reverse by mistake.

No charges have been filed, but the DA is investigating.
