Start-Up Creates Ring That Doubles As Your MBTA Charlie Card
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – Some MIT students have come up with a project that will make it easier to hop on the T.
They've launched a Kickstarter project called Sesame Ring that offers stylish rings with built-in RFID technology.

RFID Rings
RFID is what's used in Charlie Cards.
It allows you to tap your card against the reader.
But instead of digging through your wallet to find the card, riders can just tap their ring.
The Kickstarter project, which claims to have the support of MBTA officials, has already raised more than $4,000 of its $5,000 goal.
