Norfolk DA Will Not Face Criminal Charges In Milton Crash

Morrissey appeared before a clerk magistrate in Quincy Monday morning, a month after he was cited for crossing the center line and crashing into oncoming traffic on Center Street in Milton July 16.

Morrissey, 58, presented evidence that he was dehydrated and suffered an isolated fainting episode while he was driving that evening, which was one of the hottest days of the summer.

The district attorney was represented by his former law partner.

After the hearing Morrissey made all the medical documents in the case public.

None of the injuries from the crash were serious.

Morrissey paid a $100 fine for the marked lane violation.
