Daily Talker: Should State Ban Kids From Watching Ultimate Fighting Live?

Mixed martial arts or "MMA" is one of the most popular sports in the world right now. But a Boston City Councilor says it's far too violent for kids to watch. He's proposing the state ban anyone under the age of 18 from watching the sport live.
A lobbyist for Ultimate Fighting says the sport is no more violent than professional sports like football, hockey, baseball and basketball. He told the council that it should be up to parents to decide if their kids can watch UFC.
Massachusetts state law already prohibits anyone under the age of 16 from attending a UFC match without the supervision of a parent.
Should the city council and the state be getting involved in this, or should the decision be left up to parents?
