Police Investigate Report Of Woman Attacked In South Boston Elevator

SOUTH BOSTON (CBS) – Police are investigating a report of a woman being attacked inside an elevator in South Boston.

The alleged attack happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday in a building on Channel Center.

Officers say the victim told police that a man grabbed her waist and neck area.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as a white man in his twenties, about 5'6' tall, with an extremely red, possibly sunburned face.

He was clean shaven with short, light brown hair, and was wearing a white shirt with an unknown graphic on the front, along with gray or olive green cargo shorts.

The victim woman managed to escape the elevator.

She was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contract police.
