WBZ Water Cooler: Exercising In The Summer Heat

BOSTON (CBS) -- At the WBZ Water Cooler: It's jogging or 'yogging' as "Anchorman" Ron Burgundy once described it.

Folks in Boston and all across New England are trying to get in shape this summer, and it does seem like people do more running, bicycling and swimming when the weather is hot. We went around Boston to try and get in the heads of those trying to get their bodies in shape.

TJ from Brighton says he "tries to run as much as he can," and although he complains when he has to work out in the summer heat, he says it's better this time of year compared to "12 feet of snow." TJ also said he would rather be "enjoying a beer."

Emilia says she waitresses to stay in shape, adding, "you're on your feet and sometimes you get an order wrong to get your heart rate up." Emilia said she'd "rather be at the beach" on a hot day.
