Mass. Man Charged In Winnipesaukee Boat Crash That Injured 4
GILFORD, N.H. (AP) — Police say four people have been injured in a crash between two boats on Lake Winnipesaukee in the New Hampshire town of Gilford.
Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash Friday night.
Authorities say 50-year-old Barry K. Myers of Dracut, Mass., has been charged with boating while intoxicated.
Four people were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from a fractured arm to possible internal injuries.
Both boats were severely damaged in the collision.
It was unclear if Myers is being represented by a lawyer.
