Third NH High School Teacher Resigns After Alleged Sex Assault

EXETER, NH (CBS) - A third teacher at Exeter High School in New Hampshire has resigned after a former student reported a sexual assault that may have happened in 2009.

The recent revelations led officials to a controversial screenplay the teachers wrote, which included sex scenes.

The school district is not releasing names, but documents obtained by WBZ-TV reveal that a social studies teacher resigned at the end of May. Sources say he is the teacher linked to the alleged sexual assault.

Police have not filed any criminal charges at this point.

Police are asking students, former students, parents and teachers to come forward with any information they may have.
