Turkey Crashes Through Train Windshield In Mansfield, Injures Engineer
MANSFIELD (CBS) - An Amtrak train engineer was in the hospital Saturday after a turkey crashed through the windshield of the train he was operating.
Mansfield Firefighters say the accident happened just after 11 a.m. on the tracks not far from Elm Street in that town.
The turkey was killed in the collision.
The engineer was transported to Sturdy Memorial with minor injuries.
Train service did not appear to be significantly affected by the incident.
