29-Year-Old Man Drowns In Charlton Lake

CHARLTON (AP) — State police say a 29-year-old man was pulled out of a lake in central Massachusetts and later died at a hospital.

The man was reported missing earlier Saturday at Buffumville Lake and State Park and was believed to have drowned. Troopers recovered the man, who was taken to a hospital in Worcester but later succumbed to his injuries.

State police say the man was from Warren but they aren't releasing his name until his next of kin is notified. No other details were immediately released.
