Dropkick Murphys To Play At Boston Strong Concert

BOSTON (CBS) – The Dropkick Murphys will play at the 'Boston Strong' concert at the TD Garden Thursday night.

The band was not part of the original announcement of acts because of a scheduling conflict.

However, Ernie Boch, Jr. is sending his own private jet to pick the band up in Colorado so they can make it to Boston in time for the historic benefit show.

The all-star line-up includes Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Boston, Jimmy Buffett, Extreme, J Geils Band, Godsmack, Carole King, New Kids On The Block, James Taylor, comedians Dane Cook and Steven Wright, and other special guests.

All net proceeds will go to One Fund Boston.
