MV Kearsarge Returns To Service On Lake Sunapee In NH

SUNAPEE, N.H. (CBS) -- Four months after the MV Kearsarge was discovered partially submerged at the Sunapee Town Dock, the dinner cruise boat has been re-floated and completely renovated, according to a prepared statement from the family that operates the vessel.

The Kearsarge is scheduled to take a "grand inaugural sunset cruise" on Lake Sunapee on Monday, May 27, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Fenton family operates the Kearsarge as well as its sister ship, the MV Mt. Sunapee II.

Investigators determined an "eraser sized hole" caused the Kearsarge sink in January at its winter berth in Sunapee Harbor.
