Brady Wins Big At Kentucky Derby

BOSTON (CBS) - Those watching Saturday's Kentucky Derby may have seen a very happy Tom Brady when Orb crossed the finish line before anyone else.

Turns out, the Patriots quarterback made a pretty penny thanks to the horse.

According to the Boston Herald, Brady put a $4,700 bet on Orb to win it all -- which paid out nearly $25,000 when the colt won the race.

Brady wasn't alone in his celebration, which can seen here on Business First. Former teammates Wes Welker, fittingly now a Bronco, Tedy Bruschi and Patriots center Dan Koppen were with Brady for the Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs.

The group was seen jumping around in excitement, and Brady also shared a hub with Orb's owners Stuart S. Janney III and Phipps Stable. But, according to Business First, Brady declined an invite to the winner's circle.

It's hard to blame Brady for declining that invite; he had a bet to collect.
