That was very clearly on display Saturday night in Boston, when eyewitnesses say a Maple Leafs fan was attacked on his way out of the TD Garden, and it was on display again in Toronto prior to Game 3 between the Bruins and Maple Leafs.

The sign said, “Toronto Stronger,” a play on words with the “Boston Strong” motto that has been used in Boston as a rallying cry after the Boston Marathon bombings, which killed three people and injured 260 others.

The message, obviously, doesn’t represent the views of anyone beyond that one person, and the reaction from the majority of Twitter users seemed to be of disgust.
