Felger & Mazz: May 3, 2013

Felger and Massarotti kicked off Friday talking about the Boston Red Sox, Clay Buchholz, and accusations that Buchholz may be doctoring the baseball. Jerry Thornton from Barstool Sports joined Felger and Mazz to discuss the reports that Buchholz is greasing up the baseball. The guys also talked about the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks series with Jerry. Could the Celtics make history? In Boston Bruins news, defenceman Andrew Ference will be suspended for Game 2 due to the elbow he delivered to the head of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski. How will Ference's suspension affect the defensive pairings in Game 2?

Hour 1

In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys continued to discuss allegations that Clay Buchholz may be doctoring the baseball on the mound. The guys went on to talk about the Boston Celtics and tonight's Game 6 against the New York Knicks at the Garden. What are people expecting from the Celtics tonight? The Boston Red Sox took the rubber match against the Toronto Blue Jays last night 3-1. Joel Hanrahan earned the save last night because Andrew Bailey was out with biceps pain. Finally, Marc Bertrand let's the guys know who the referees are for tonight's Celtics game.

Hour 2

Chris Gapser of the Boston Globe joined Felger and Massarotti in Hour 3 to talk some Celtics and tonight's Game 6 against the Knicks. Can the Celtics become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-0 deficit? Jack Morris had some comments about Clay Buchholz doctoring the baseball. Dennis Eckersley came to Buchholz' defense. Are local broadcasters out there just to protect the players?

Hour 3

In the fourth and final hour, the guys recap all the stories that were discussed today. Can the Celtics make NBA history by coming back from down 3-0? Was Clay Buchholz cheating on the mound? What can we expect to see from the Bruins defense with Andrew Ference out in Game 2? Finally, we hear from Squeaky Mazz and Mad Mike on The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
