While one former classmate described him as "quiet," another said he was the class clown. Despite seeing the photos that resembled him, the unidentified young woman says she never would have made the connection.

"Dzhokhar was so friendly and nice-going, I wouldn't connect A and B that he would be a possible terrorist or even hurt a fly for that fact," the young woman said.

The woman says she knew Tsarnaev well from school, and shared a class with him their senior year.

"During that time, he was the class clown. He would just joke around, try and make jokes, get on the teachers nerves, just like a typical class clown," she said. "He was very friendly. Everyone liked him. No one had any problems with him…"

The young woman says he occasionally talked about where he was born, but never suggested any anger toward the U.S.

"He just seemed like a normal American to me," she said. "I only remember him as well, good-intentioned."
