Two Arrested After Teen Accidentally Shoots Self In Fitchburg

FITCHBURG, Mass. (AP) — Police say a 16-year-old boy has been hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the abdomen at a Fitchburg home.

Police say two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting at about 4 p.m. Sunday.

The boy's name was not released but police say he is from Leominster and is expected to survive.

The two adult men arrested are charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
