BOSTON (CBS) – Several hundred pillow-armed people descended on Boston’s North Point Park on Saturday for what has become a rite of spring in the city for the past half-dozen years.

The city’s participation in World Pillow Fight Day featured loners looking to land a few pillow blows and teams with more elaborate strategies.

One organizer said two of the top rules in the event are “no hitting anyone with a pair of glasses; no hitting anyone incredibly hard.”
