Felger & Mazz: April 4, 2013

Felger and Massarotti kicked off the day talking about the Boston Red Sox, last night's 7-4 win over the New York Yankees, and the future of the shortstop position. Jose Iglesias is off to a hot start and with Stephen Drew expected to return next week, the Red Sox may have a dilemma on their hands. When Drew returns, who should be the starting shortstop? Are the New York Yankees going to struggle all season? In Boston Celtics news, the C's clinched a playoff berth with a 98-93 win over the Detroit Pistons last night. Jeff Green put up 34 points last night. Will Green's numbers drop with Kevin Garnett returns? Are the Miami Heat the Celtics only threat in the Eastern Conference?

Hour 1

In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz were joined by Mike Milbury to talk some Boston Bruins, the acquisition of Jaromir Jagr, and the B's missing out on Jarome Iginla last week. In television news, NESN had a to choose between Jaromir Jagr's debut with the Bruins or the series final between the Red Sox and New York Yankees. NESN decided to show the Sox game and the Bruins will be on NESNplus. Which game is more important?

Hour 2

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys continued to discuss the Boston Red Sox and their shortstop situation. Stephan Drew returns from the DL next Monday for the home opener. Does he deserve to step right in as the starting shortstop? Is Drew a "premium" player? Tonight Jaromir Jagr will make his Boston Bruins debut. What is Jagr's motivation this point in his career?

Hour 3

In the fourth and final hour of Felger and Mazz, the guys took calls on all topics. Where will Jaromir Jagr play with the Boston Bruins tonight? Who should be the Red Sox starting shortstop? Also, Executive Producer James Stewart gives a 30 second preview of Sunday's Wrestlemania 29. Finally, Marc Bertrand gives us The Final Word.
