Harwich Man's Burger King Craving Ends In 3rd OUI Arrest

DENNIS (CBS) - An apparent late-night burger craving landed a 51-year-old man behind bars and facing a third drunk driving charge.

Harwich police say an officer spotted Stephen Golden of Harwich pulling up to a closed Burger King drive-thru around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Golden was driving on a flat tire, according to police.

An officer followed Golden down Route 134 and into a Cumberland Farms parking lot in South Dennis.

An officer from Dennis police arrived and performed field sobriety tests, which Golden allegedly failed.

He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor as a 3rd Offense and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

He's out on bail and is set to be arraigned on Monday morning at Orleans District Court.
