Mansfield Selectmen Vote To Euthanize Dog That Attacked Boy

MANSFIELD (CBS) – Town leaders in Mansfield have voted to euthanize a dog that attacked a boy.

Selectmen met Wednesday night to decide the fate of Milo, a pointer basset hound mix. More than a dozen witnesses testified before the board voted 3-2 to put the dog down.

The six-year-old boy had to have surgery and hundreds of stitches.

Milo's family now has ten days to appeal.
