Boston, Other Mass. Communities Declare Snow Emergencies, Parking Bans

BOSTON (CBS) - With snow beginning to fall, and several inches of accumulation expected, the city of Boston has declared a snow emergency through 9 a.m. Sunday.

The snow emergency, along with a parking ban will go into effect Saturday at 9 p.m. Several other communities have declared parking bans ahead of the storm.

They are:

Beverly - 8 p.m.
Brockton - 4 p.m.
Fitchburg - 5 p.m.
Lowell - 3 p.m.
Medford- 5 p.m.
Methuen - Sunday
New Bedford- 7 p.m.
Newburyport - 11 p.m.
Newton - Overnight
Peabody - Currently in effect
Quincy - 5 p.m.
Taunton - Currently in effect
Wellesley - Overnight
