U.S. Marshals arrested 23-year-old Jessica Linscott and 27-year-old Roland Dow as they were leaving Universal Studios in Orlando on Wednesday.

Police say earlier this month, Linscott's three-year-old son was dropped off at Exeter Hospital with second-degree burns and bruises all over his body. Jessica told police that the injuries were self inflicted.

Deputy David Charles with the U.S. Marshals tells WBZ that they "were able to observe the two of them walking through the park after the parade" and they were arrested without incident. Tips led the Marshals to the amusement park and the Best Western that they were staying at down the road.

Dow is facing two felonies for allegedly striking the little boy in the head causing a traumatic brain injury, and burning the boy's wrist and fingers.

Dow and Linscott face multiple misdemeanors for failing to protect the child or seek medical care because of seizures and symptoms connected to the beating.

Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams said the abuse happened multiple times over a one-month period.

Police believed the couple was still in the New Hampshire area.

Ed Linscott, Jessica's uncle, tells WBZ-TV he's relieved they pair was caught and horrified they were found at a Florida theme park.

"That's real cold, I can't believe it," he says. "She ought to be ashamed of herself doing what she's done."

"I don't know her boyfriend and I really don't want to know him," says Ed. "I tell you I wouldn't want to get my hands on him."

WBZ-TV's Beth Germano contributed to this report.
