Boston Police Look For Sweet-Toothed North End Burglar

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston police are trying to find a burglar with a sweet tooth who broke into a couple of North End apartments.

At least two residents in a Salem Street building came home Friday afternoon to find someone had broken into their apartments.

One victim reported to police that two Mac computers, an iPad, an iPod dock, a new Canon Rebel T3 camera, and a book bag with a Team Lowe's Racing logo were all stolen from her apartment.

The victim also says the suspect also made off with about three pounds of Halloween candy.

It's not clear what was stolen from the other apartment. The door to a third apartment was damaged, and it's believed that the burglar may have been trying to break in there as well.

If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
