NHL Cancels Games Through October 24
BOSTON (CBS) - The NHL has cancelled regular season games through October 24 as owners and players have yet to agree on a new collective bargaining agreement.
A total of 82 regular-season games were scheduled from October 11 through October 24, including six for the Boston Bruins.
The Bruins were set to open the season with three games on the road in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Montreal. Their TD Garden schedule was set to open on October 18 against the Canadiens, with home games against the Dallas Stars and Carolina Hurricanes following.
