Nashua Man Accused Of Choking Woman, Throwing Dog Through Glass Door

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Police say a Nashua, N.H., man is accused of choking a woman and throwing her dog through a glass door.

Police arrested 29-year-old Jason Aponte after responding to a domestic dispute call Saturday.

Officers accuse Aponte of punching and choking the woman, and keeping her from calling police.

They say at some point, Aponte also threw the woman's dog through a glass pane door.

The woman suffered minor injuries. The dog also was injured.

Aponte was being arraigned Monday on assault and cruelty to animal charges.
