Truck Driver Shocked By Low-Hanging Wires On I-95 Remains Hospitalized

ATTLEBORO (CBS) - State Police have identified the driver of a tractor trailer who was injured by sagging power lines on Route 95 in Attleboro on Thursday.

Joseph O. Irorere, 45, of Brockton suffered an electrical shock as he tried to get out of his truck.

State Police said he remains at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. The hospital did not have his condition available.

Investigators believe that the high tension wires were sagging because of a structural issue on a utility pole set back from the highway.
