PLAISTOW, NH (CBS) – A Plaistow, New Hampshire pet store owner is furious over the theft of $450 baby Albino Boa Constrictor.
What’s worse, Dan Bilodeau said, is that the man who stole the snake used his young daughter as a diversion for the theft.

Bilodeau said the girl apparently distracted a Zoo Creatures store employee while the man made off with the snake.
“If you’re going to steal, steal on your own,” Bilodeau said. “Don’t bring your daughter into it.”

“They don’t bark; people aren’t allergic to them because they don’t shed; you only have to feed them once a week. So you go on vacation, you feed them before you go on vacation, and your pet is going to be okay,” he said.
The snake is the second animal stolen from the store in recent days.
