Ann Romney's Horse Makes Olympic Debut

BOSTON (CBS) - Rafalca, a horse co-owned by Ann Romney, competed Thursday in the first stage of the Olympic Dressage competition at Greenwich Park.

Rafalca and rider Jan Ebeling scored a 70.213.

Ann Romney's husband, presidential candidate Mitt Romney raised a few eyebrows in London last week when he announced he would not be there to watch Rafalca's performance.

Depending on the results of the other American riders on Friday, Rafalca and Ebeling may progress to the final stages of the dressage competition on August 7th.

In an interview Wednesday, five time Olympic equestrian and Bolton, Massachusetts native Karen O'Connor wished the duo the best of luck.
