New Hampshire Mail Carrier Indicted On Child Sex Assault Charges

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire mail carrier has been indicted on felony charges of sexually assaulting three young children he lured into his postal vehicle.

Forty-four-year-old Francis Saucier of Tyngsborough, Mass., faces seven felony and three misdemeanor charges.

He was first arrested in April, when Manchester police say he let several children into his vehicle and let them "play house," and allegedly spanked a 10-year-old boy.

He was indicted Friday on additional charges of aggravated felonious sexual assault. Manchester Police Sgt. Craig Rousseau says the victims range in age from seven to 10.

Saucier is also charged with indecent exposure.

Police said parents in the neighborhood became suspicious of Saucier's behavior and contacted police. No date has been set for his arraignment.

It was not immediately known whether Saucier has a lawyer.
