Samuel Adams Offers Limited Release Of Brewlywed Ale

BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Beer Company is offering a new beer for newlyweds. Samuel Adams "Brewlywed Ale" is a limited release Belgian-style, pale golden ale.

Brewing wedding beers has been a tradition for founder Jim Koch, in fact, the first batch of Noble Pils was brewed for his daughter's wedding day.

In a YouTube video, Koch describes the aroma of the new brew as "floral, sweet and spicy."

Brewlywed Ale will be available for just one day, Thursday July 26, at the brewery in Jamaica Plain.

Customers can start lining up at 7am. The first 20 people who show up in wedding attire will be moved to the front of the line.

The brewery doors open at 9am and bottles will be on sale for $14.99 each or purchased by the case.

Wedding experts will be on hand to answer any questions engaged couples may have, and if you already have your marriage license a Justice of the Peace will be available to perform ceremonies at the brewery.
