Car Crashes Into Ambulance In Swansea Parking Lot
SWANSEA (CBS) - Several people were hurt in a crash involving an ambulance in Swansea.
A Toyota Camry crashed into the side of the Alert Ambulance in a McDonald's parking lot at the corner of Route 6 and Route 136. The ambulance was pushed into the car next to it in the parking lot.
Police say the Camry, operated by Victoria Borkai of Providence, drove off Route 136, across a grassy area and into the parked cars.
The cars caught fire after the crash.
Four people were transported to the hospital. Three of them suffered serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
