Wellesley Woman Stung By Baby Scorpion Hidden In Her Luggage
WELLESLEY (CBS) - A Wellesley woman was stung by a baby scorpion after returning from a trip overseas on Sunday.
The scorpion apparently traveled with the woman in her luggage from Italy. While she was unpacking at home, the agitated scorpion struck at around 3:30 p.m.
The woman was not seriously injured and did not go to the hospital after she was stung.
Wellesley firefighters took control of the scorpion at the scene.
