Police aren’t sure why Pamphile was driving the wrong way on the highway on Saturday night when he hit a car driven by 43-year-old Christopher Elicier head-on between exits 1 and 2.

Elicier was pronounced dead at the scene, hours before Father’s Day. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
