77-Year-Old Man Slashes Nurse With Piece Of Glass At Canton Nursing Home
CANTON (CBS) - A nurse at an elderly facility in Canton was slashed by a resident early Friday morning.
Police said the nurse was trying to stop 77-year-old William Dumas from jumping out a window at the Tower Hill Healthcare Center nursing home after 4 a.m.
The nurse was cut on her left forearm with a piece of glass and rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, police said.
Dumas will be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
