Search For Missing Girl Resumes On Rockport Beach
ROCKPORT (CBS) – State and local police resumed their search at a beach in Rockport Friday afternoon for a toddler who was last seen there more than two weeks ago.
Nothing new was found after the search.
Two-year-old Caleigh Harrison of Gloucester vanished April 19 while playing with her mother and sister on Long Beach.
Caleigh's parents have said they believe she may have been abducted.
Searchers briefly returned to Long Beach Thursday when a dog being walked on the beach showed interest in an area near the water line.
"He was digging and digging. It was not normal behavior for that dog," said a woman who did not want to be identified.
Nothing was found and the search ended when the tide came in.
