Phantom Gourmet: Authentic Mexican Restaurants

BOSTON (CBS) - Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet visited some authentic Mexican restaurants.

El Centro is a cool new Mexican eatery in Boston's South End. The guacamole is amped up with chorizo and cheese, the tacos are authentically delicious, and the Carne asada is served with fresh corn tortillas made on site.

The Howling Wolf in Salem, Mass. is a California style taqueria featuring cuisine inspired by the southwest. What started as a simple take-out taco joint has evolved into much more.

Every meal feels like a 'Cinco de Mayo' celebration at "La Siesta" in Winthrop, which is known for fresh, home-style Mexican dishes like tortilla crusted shrimp and crab cakes and Chile Rellenos.

Cinco de Mayo is always one of the busiest days of the year at Mexican restaurants and since it's on a Saturday...it's gonna be loco.
