CSNNE’s Sean McAdam joined Gresh and Zo fresh off his trip to Minnesota where he witnessed the Boston Red Sox sweep the Minnesota Twins.

Minnesota’s starting pitching was shaky during the series and the Red Sox were able to capitalize by getting out to leads early. On the flip side the Red Sox bullpen was a little shaky, coming one run away from blowing the lead Wednesday night.

McAdam was surprised by the line up confusion last night. Red Sox head coach Bobby Valentine was confused about which hand Minnesota starting pitcher Liam Hendriks threw with and put up the wrong line up.

When Gresh and Zo asked McAdam about the Red Sox bullpen he was less than optimistic. McAdam feels they need to add another arm in the bullpen and until that happens it will be a rocky road.

Carl Crawford’s return is still in question and now it looks as though it could be a ways away. Reports came down on that the left fielder will be taking a trip to see Dr. James Andrews and could miss a “significant portion” of the season. At this rate does McAdam think he’ll play this year?
