Mrs. Obama visited the Penacook Community Center in Concord on Friday as part of her initiative against childhood obesity. The facility has a child care center that helps children exercise before and after school and teaches them about healthy eating.

After sharing some fruit and White House honey with the center's children, Mrs. Obama spoke to a crowd of about 100. She congratulated the Capital Area Wellness Coalition on its work to promote healthy lifestyles in Concord and welcomed the capital as the second New Hampshire city to join "Let's Move Cities and Towns."

New Hampshire's first lady, Dr. Susan Lynch, joined Mrs. Obama in her visit.
