BU And BC Advance To Beanpot Final
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston University and Boston College have advanced to the Beanpot title game.
The Boston Terriers beat the Harvard Crimson 3-1 in the early game Monday on a pair of goals by junior Wade Megan. Sophomore forward Matt Nieto also scored for BU.
In the second game, Boston College beat Northeastern 7-1. Junior forward Steven Whitney and freshman forward Johnny Gaudreau each had two goals and an assist.
The title game will be played next Monday February 13th. This will be the 21st time that the rivals meet in the finals. Boston University is 12-8 against the Eagles in the championship.
