BOSTON (CBS) – While the Red Sox off-season roster moves have been less glamorous, Boston fans finally have their replacement for Heidi Watney.

According to the Boston Globe, ESPN AccuScore anchor Jenny Dell will replace Watney as NESN’s in-game reporter next season.

Dell, a UMass graduate, worked on and off-camera for ESPN, most recently during the Winter X Games.

NESN has yet to confirm the hiring.

Watney left NESN this off-season for a job in California with Time Warner Cable.

She will begin working as a sideline reporter for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2012-2013 NBA season.
