Photos: Stormtrooper Cake
"It was a challenge to say the least, but we're all incredibly proud, as we think it is perhaps the greatest sculpted cake ever created. A bold statement for sure, but we think think that the photos speak for themselves," said the Amanda Oakleaf Cakes company, on their blog.
The Stormtrooper cake stood 6'4" tall and weighed at least 300 pounds. It was large enough to feed around 600 people.
A group of 10 people took two full weeks to put the cake together, though the actual cake wasn't inserted into the Stormtrooper's shell until 2 days before the event.
To support the Stormtrooper's frame, the chefs used two legs made of Rice Krispies.
