Disabled Veterans Get The Chance To Ski
BOSTON (CBS) - The folks at the VA Hospital in Boston kick off the annual winter sports clinic for disabled veterans next week.
Vets who have had amputations, spinal cord injuries, and even those who have lost their eyesight will get a chance to ski at the Mount Sunapee resort.
Great instructors will show these vets how to use adaptive sports equipment that will help them ski.
Organizers say when the vets have come flying down the mountain in the past, they smile and often say the same thing: "You gave me my life back."
