Box Truck, MBTA Bus Collide In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) - A box truck and a Silver Line bus collided in Boston Thursday afternoon.

The Penske truck hit the Silver Line bus while crossing D Street at around 12:15 p.m.

There were four people on the bus including the operator, but none of them were injured.

The truck's operator, 21-year old Phillip J. Wideman of Saugus, was cited by police for failing to stop at a red signal.

The bus sustained significant damage to the front end, including the passenger door, windshield and side mirror.
