Aaron Ward: Is Lucic A Dirty Player?

The Montreal Canadiens fired their head coach Jacques Martin and hired new coach Randy Cunneyworth, but he might not hold that job long. Unfortunately Cunneyworth doesn't speak French and the government is not pleased with him holding the head coach position.

Toucher & Rich spoke with former Bruin and current hockey analyst on TSN, Aaron Ward about the situation in Montreal and this year's Bruins team.

"It's funny how much you have in terms of politicians stepping up, it's a reoccurrence again of people who don't belong and should not have an opinion offering up their opinion on something that's irrelevant to them," Ward said.

Milan Lucic was suspended for one game for his hit on Flyers winger Zac Rinaldo. Lucic had already had a meeting with NHL's head of discipline Brendan Shanahan for a hit earlier this season on Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller. Has Lucic turned into a dirty player?

"No, what he is is a physical guy, he's like a bull in a china shop," Ward said.

Listen as he goes on to talk about playing with Lucic on the Bruins then playing against him when he moved to the Hurricanes.
