Report: Charges Filed In Crash That Killed Framingham State Student

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) - A college student from Haverhill is reportedly going to face charges that she was drunk when she crashed her car in Framingham earlier this month, killing a classmate.

The Metrowest Daily News reports that Brooke Uttley has been summonsed to appear in Framingham District Court and will be arraigned on Wednesday.

The crash killed 20-year-old Ashley Donahue of Bridgewater. She was thrown from the car after it hit a utility pole in the early morning hours of December 3.

Uttley, one of three other students injured in the crash,  is facing charges of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

Donahue and Uttley were both students at Framingham State Univerisity.
