Fall River Woman Killed In Freetown Crash

FREETOWN (CBS) - A Fall River woman was killed in an overnight crash in Freetown. State Police say the crash happened on Route 24 north around 12:30 a.m.

Investigators say a car driven by 22-year-old Mirissa Medeiros rolled over.

Medeiros was thrown from the car. It is unknown at this time whether she was wearing her seat belt.

The accident resulted in a three-car crash.

Police believe Medeiros was possibly struck by another vehicle during the second crash.

Two passengers involved in that second crash were injured.

State Police are investigating.
