Police: 3 Occupy Boston Protesters Were "Boisterous" When Arrested

BOSTON (CBS) - Three Occupy Boston protesters were arrested after a march on Newbury Street on Saturday evening.

According to the police report, 17-year-old Jeffery Nunes of Malden, 17-year-old Kiearn Lyons of Norwood and 21-year-old Sean Cormier of Westport were "boisterous" when arrested, alleging "police brutality." They were charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Officers said they observed a march around 5 p.m. The three protesters, who were dressed in dark clothing and believed to be wearing face masks, sprinted away from the march, police said.

Police said one of the suspects was carrying a 3-foot piece of wood that was wrapped into one of two bed sheets crafted into homemade signs. The signs read "Fight for your Rights" and "Capitalism is the Crisis, Steal Everything."

Officers chased after the three suspects, who then ran into a packed Burger King restaurant on Boylston Street. Police observed that people in the restaurant "appeared to cower in fear."

Police then made the arrests.
