Person Hit By Commuter Rail Train In Norwood

NORWOOD (CBS) - A person was struck and killed by a Commuter Rail train in Norwood on Monday.

The person, who was trespassing on the tracks, was hit near the Norwood Depot Station on the Franklin line.

The MBTA says the victim was a 36-year-old white man. Transit Police will be investigating the incident.

Service was disrupted in that area.
